i turned seventeen yesterday. it's strange... just one more year until i'm a legal adult.
it's a scary thought. sombering.
i'm not sure how i feel just yet.
i don't feel any older-- in fact, i still feel very much like a child.
i'm not sure i'm ready to be an adult. yeah, i can be mature, but am i really ready to shoulder the responsibilities of one who must care for theirself?
i'm unsure...

still. no use borrowing trouble-- i've a full year to wait, have i not?
perhaps things will change for the better.
